Aerosols (tiny particles in the air) influence climate cooling by affecting cloud formation: more aerosols lead to more cloud droplets and thus brighter clouds. In this project, we use satellites and models to better map aerosol-cloud interactions (ACI) and their uncertainties. We will use this information to improve current climate models. This project is crucial for making better climate predictions in a world where particulate matter pollution is decreasing.
